Ok how weird is it that we’re already into the sixth month of 2014. I can’t deal with it even a little bit.
When I originally started this series, I presented a list of the first eight books that I planned on reading. That list has now been completed, but I don’t feel like creating a new one. With that list, I found that I regretted making it as the months progressed and other books popped up that I wanted to read instead of the ones I had chosen in January. So from now on, we’ll be covering my plans two at a time!
June Reading List:
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant
I was recently loaned this book by a friend who HIGHLY recommended it. I don’t want to hold on to it for too long since it isn’t mine haha. Hence it’s on my list this month! She isn’t a big reader and she said she couldn’t put it down so I’m planning on this being a pretty quick read for me.
The Princes in the Tower by Alison Weir
I am actually SUPER excited to read this. I just ordered it from Thriftbooks along with several other books because there was a sale (haul coming soon perhaps?), and I was so happy that this was there. Alison Weir is my favorite favorite non-fiction author as I’ve mentioned before and although I vaguely know the story of the princes in the tower my “knowledge” is based on the legends. I cannot wait to get into this book! My reward for finishing the other books haha.
Don’t forget to add me on GoodReads! What are you reading this month?
