Cambria // road tripping
It wouldn’t be a road trip through Southern California without getting stuck in LA traffic. My best friend Jomana and I had every intention of leaving early enough to beat it, but both of us being those people that are always late, we hit LA right at 6. Luckily traffic isn’t so bad when you’re westbound into the sunset with your best friend, jamming to the Tove Lo Pandora station.

Jo had rented us a little cabin in Cambria, CA and we arrived around 11pm; the air was cold and fresh when we finally pulled into the driveway and got out of the car. We were exhausted but the place was so cute we couldn’t help but snap pictures while the place was still tidy before we settled in. The white walls, the wood floors, the little details…it was more picturesque than we had imagined.

After we each spent a good amount of time snapping pictures of the cabin, we popped open a bottle of champagne. We were both in need of a nice vacation and it was our first vacation just the two of us. That called for a bubbly toast.

An incredible, best friends getaway weekend was to follow. (to be continued)
  • What a great place! My husband and I were talking about getting away to friends more, even if it’s just a couple of hours away. It’s just to just go for the weekend, rent a cabin and lounge around. 🙂

  • I keep saying this but your pictures are amazing! That cabin looks so cute 🙂 I feel like taking a little road trip myself now!
