I haven’t been around much lately. I got home from my big NYC/Boston trip over a month ago and still haven’t shared anything about it…and now I went BACK to NYC for a mini college reunion for Memorial Day Weekend. June goals include being more present in this space. I truly miss it and I think I see some more free time for me on the horizon so fingers crossed.
May was a LOT of busy days and rushing around, so even my Instagram feed was pretty quiet. Highlights included a hibachi dinner for my sister’s 22nd birthday, my freshman-year-roommate-turned-best-friend surprising me with a visit in LA, and of course my two week trip to Pittsburgh. We spent Memorial Day in NYC and the following weekend at Allegheny for our school’s bicentennial celebration (Allegheny is one of the 1% oldest schools in America!).
It’s hard to sit down and do work when you’re with your friends for the first time in years…and you know what? I don’t regret it. I think those are the times where it’s most important to put the technology down and look around.
On that note, here’s to lots of online time in June ;]
