Towards the end of our trip, Ilhan and I slept in pretty late which called for a brunch date haha. My best friend host recommended that we go to Cofetarika, a little second story cafe that serves drinks, wraps, omelettes and the like. It was a really cute place and the waitress was SO sweet and helpful, which is always a HUGE plus when you need serious aid understanding the menu haha.
To start out, I ordered a handmade lemonade and Ilhan ordered a latte. The lemonade was the actual best lemonade in the whole world, it was amazingly tart and not too sweet. The most refreshing of refreshing! Ilhan highly enjoyed his coffee too hehe.
For our brunch, I got an egg white omelette with spinach (my favorite omelette ingredient hehe) and a side of potatoes and salad. Ilhan got a chicken avocado wrap with salad. I’m not going to lie, I’m the easiest person to please when it comes to omelettes and this was no exception. Plus the salad was really nicely dressed…not soaked but added lots flavor. Ilhan is also easy to please with sandwiches and wraps haha, and he loved this one :]
As my friend recommended to us, I would highly recommend this cute little cafe if you’re ever in Oaxaca. The food wasn’t super Mexican but it was delicious, the staff was great, and the patio was amazing to sit on and enjoy the warm air.
Oh, and here’s a picture of the cutest kitten on earth. Bonus!
