Some life things.

I’ve been pretty horrible at blogging for the past few months. I’m not really sure why, but I guess it was a combination of being busy and being uninspired. No offense to anyone who lives in Orange County, I really can’t stand living here…it’s so sprawled out and suburban and not me at all. I want to live in a city where I can walk places and there are cute cafes and fun restaurants that aren’t chains. Also, I’ve started feeling weird about sharing things about my life; it just feels so boring and uninteresting and I don’t know why anyone would want to read about it anyway haha.

Anyway. I need to get myself out of this slump because I really really love blogging, and feeling so discouraged about it makes me simultaneously sad because I miss it and sad because it seems like I can’t get back into it again. But I love this hobby. I need to just shake this mood off and move forward.

So here are some things that have been going on with me lately:

Ilhan and I are definitely for sure moving to San Diego later this year. Going off of what I was talking about in that first paragraph, I’m BEYOND excited. I absolutely LOVE San Diego and already feel more inspiration from it than I do where I’m currently located. I can’t wait!

I have a big trip coming up this summer! I’ll be announcing the destination + some questions about posting for it later this week hehe (hint: it’s on my 2015 travel bucket list!).

Speaking of trips, I’m soooooo behind on posting about New York City and Boston. I can’t believe how fast time has gone! I was there two months ago already…what is happening?

Chaya is somehow even plumper than she was when we got her. Like she’s actually getting really fat. I guess that’s a good sign? It means she’s happy, right?

I’m no longer working online and am pursuing some other options. Not going to talk about it here yet for fear of jinxing it ;]

I started doing Kayla Itsines’ workouts…has anyone else done them and/or completed all 12 weeks of the Bikini Body Guide? I don’t have 12 weeks to do the whole thing because I’m going on my trip, but I’m still trying to do them as much as possible before then.

I laid out for the first time in like two years. I was only outside for like an hour and got SO BURNED. How does this happen to me!?

I’m on a huge zodiac kick lately…I love reading about my sun/moon/rising signs and also telling everyone else about their signs too haha.

  • hope you get back on the blogging kick! i hear about living out in the suburbs. i love more of a pedestrian culture and miss living in an area where everything is walking distance and there is good public transportation that gets me to where i need to go. for me it’s either a rural setting or a city setting but the burbs… ehh… 🙂

    • Thank youuuu I do too! And yes that’s exactly what I’m wanting, a pedestrian culture. And I agree with you, I would want to either live in a city or on a big farm out in the countryside haha. Maybe I’ll change my mind about the burbs later in life but for now…just not me at all!

  • San Diego! Yay! That sounds so exciting already and I feel you… I would actually rather live downtown and be able to walk everywhere 🙂 Although where we are now is pretty damn close to that. Sounds like you have some exciting months coming up! I can’t wait to hear about the big trip/ working plans!

    • Heheheh yes I’m SO STOKED!!!!! San Diego is just the best place ;] And even if you don’t live right downtown I feel like the areas down there are all really nice anyway. And I’m glad you’re excited, I am too hehe :]

“I’ve been a horrible blogger” – you’re still better than me!! And I definitely feel the whole big city thing. I don’t have my car with me right now and I love being able to walk everywhere! I’ve tried the Kayla Itsines stuff! I didn’t stick with it but I was thinking about starting it again because you don’t need that much equipment.
