Travel Tuesday [on a Thursday] // San Francisco Weekend, 03
Happy Thursday :] So this was supposed to post on Tuesday (Travel Tuesday obv) but it obviously didn’t, so here it is on a Thursday haha. Part 3 of my anniversary trip to San Francisco with Ilhan!
After hiking around Buena Vista Park on our special day, we went up this mountain that we saw from a distance and wanted to climb. I have no idea what it was called but I CAN tell you it had this awesome view of the city and it was totally worth braving the steep slope.

Ilhan hates pictures. We call this “the Ilhan Smile.” Haha.

We wanted to go out to dinner that night and although we didn’t want to do anything super duper expensive, we did want to get something a little nicer than we’re used to. We decided to go to Bistro Central Parc, a French restaurant (because I love everything French) that seemed nice and was also walking distance from where we were staying. We of course had to take a few anniversary mirror pics before leaving haha.

The restaurant was small and cozy and intimate, which I liked; it definitely gave me some deja vu of being in France and I could imagine we were just back in Paris haha. I’m 99% the waiter was an actual Frenchman (telltale accent) so it was awesome. I ordered rabbit and Ilhan got duck, both dishes that we deemed exotic and interesting enough to properly commemorate our anniversary. We accompanied our plates with extraordinarily overpriced glasses of red wine, but it was worth it :]

We both LOVED our food; on my part, the rabbit just fell off the bone and was so well seasoned and moist and the sauce complimented all the flavors perfectly. YUM.

We took this last selfie after we got back to our room and we passed out in like two minutes. I guess that’s what really full bellies and a big glass of wine do to you after a day of hiking in the sun!
  • First off: you guys are like a model couple. Absolutely gorgeous.
Second: you're in the Bay Area!! Um, my childhood. It's fine. Now I'm homesick (in a good way!)

  • Aw, y'all are too cute! I still can't get over your eyebrows teach me please. (actually I'm not kidding)
I'm like 85% sure that's Twin Peaks by the view- correct me if I'm wrong. I LOVE that place 🙂

  • Is rabbit meat similar to any other conventional meat? Someone told me it's pretty good but so I haven't looked for any restaurant that serves rabbit meat! My sister used to own a couple of rabbits so we always joked around telling her we would go cook them when she's at school and she got mad hahaha.

  • this sounds like a wonderful anniversary adventure. i went to SF when we first moved town to california but i haven't been back ever since, and i really wish i could go!
